SoftMaker has released a new update for their award winning Office 2008 application suite.
Here is a rundown of what has been addressed/fixed or updated:
ALL APPLICATIONS:
- All problems with hardware keyboards built into your Pocket PC should now be solved.
- Pressing the SYM or FN key made the cursor jump to random positions on some Pocket PCs. This is fixed now.
- Compatibility with the Interkey SIP
- The bug that forced you to turn off error reporting on some Pocket PCs so that you could run SoftMaker Office is now fixed.
- Several fixes to PDF export
TEXTMAKER:
- Many improvements to Microsoft Word and RTF import
- Improvements to OpenDocument import and export
- The "Go to" dialog now lists headings in the order in which they appear in the document.
- A crash in "Track changes" has been fixed.
- Tools/Set Database now offers *.txt and *.csv as file extensions.
- Minor fixes and improvements
PLANMAKER:
- The TEXT function did not manage the thousands separator correctly in certain situations.
- Text frames with more than 4000 characters were sometimes saved incorrectly.
- File/Open now offers *.txt and *.csv as text file formats.
- Several improvements to Excel import
- Some additional bug fixes
SOFTMAKER PRESENTATIONS:
- In Page Setup, portrait and landscape were swapped, and sometimes changes to the page settings were not stored correctly.
- When working with two screens, the slide show was shown in the middle of both screens.
- Improved handling of transparent objects
- Minor fixes and improvements

The upgrade is free for existing Documents to Go with Exchange Attachments (the old product name) owners.

Konami has updated Frogger for iPhone. This new version has several bug fixes and now has Facebook integration so you can brag to your buddies about your frog saving skills.

Yesterday to much fanfare Google announced the Nexus One - well, officially at least. You have probably seen or read something on it over the last couple of weeks.
Having read several blogs on the Nexus One and some discussion with fellow Mobius and MVPs, my question to you is this: Is the Nexus One impressive or is it over-hyped and tell me why? AT&T Upgrading their network to support HSDPA 7.2Mbps

AT&T is in the process of upgrading their 3G networks to support HSDPA and 7.2Mbps downloads. The challenge? Um, it's not available everywhere and won't be until 2011.
"In addition to the HSPA 7.2 software, initial deployment of backhaul is already underway in the six U.S. cities announced in 2009 as initial HSPA 7.2 markets – Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami, with capabilities being turned up on a site-by-site basis beginning last month. Further backhaul deployment will continue in these markets and begin in additional markets across the nation. We anticipate that the majority of our mobile data traffic will be carried over the expanded fiber-based, HSPA 7.2-capable backhaul by the end of this year, with deployment continuing to expand in 2011."

HTC Tattoo Review at Tracy and Matt's Blog
Over at Tracy and Matt's Blog there is a new review of the latest Android-based phone from HTC, the Tattoo. The Tattoo is a powerful little device with a 528MHz processor and 256MB of RAM/512 of ROM. It is a quad-band GSM phone so it will work here in the US with no problem, just no 3G support from either AT&T or T-Mobile.
The review has plenty of information on the device including the HTC Sense user interface.
